A pair of Su-57 hit ground targets at the Aviadarts-2018 contest

On the website of the TV channel "Star" cadre of combat training tasks are published by a pair of the latest Russian fighter Su-57. The pilots' tasks were carried out during the traditional Aviadarts-2018 competition held by the Ministry of Defense.


On footage taken from drone, you can see how the Su-57s deliver simulated strikes against ground targets located at the training ground.

In the first seconds of the video, as noted, the combat reversal of the Su-57 multi-role fighters is demonstrated.

Recall that while the aircraft used engines of the so-called first stage. However, the developers some time ago stated that the development of engines of the second stage is at the final stage, and therefore the engines could soon be replaced with more advanced ones. The engines of the second stage will add maneuverability to Russian aircraft, which are already among the most maneuverable in the world.



Previously, the Su-57 aircraft involved in the Syrian Arab Republic. According to the results of the application, the designers make adjustments and improve the technical characteristics of the combat aircraft belonging to the fifth generation of fighters.

India a few months ago, initially participating in the joint FGFA project with Russia, decided to withdraw from the project, saying that it was not satisfied with the characteristics of the Su-57, including the stealth parameters and the engines of the 1 stage. However, in New Delhi they made it clear that if Russia modifies the aircraft, then India can return to the project.
