Ukraine showed "analogue" of the Russian "Terminator"

15
Inspired by Russian developments in the field of armored vehicles, Ukrainians decided to keep up. Ukroboronprom published a video of testing a certain analogue (with a stretch) of the Russian support combat vehicle tanks "Terminator". The shock module, which consists of two automatic 30-mm guns, was called "Doublet".

According to the developers, the Doublet can shoot up to 1000 shells per minute. Its main objectives are light armored vehicles, low-flying aircraft such as helicopters and UAVs, fortified firing points and enemy manpower. In theory, the module can be upgraded with four anti-tank guided missiles, an automatic 30-mm grenade launcher, or two additional 7,62-mm machine guns.

Most likely, the new combat module, if it goes into a series, will not be placed on the base of the BMP-2, but will be transferred to a heavier and better armored platform. Otherwise, the machine will become an easy target, even for heavy sniper rifles.

This is not an analogue of the Terminator, it is rubbish ... the booking is weak, the guns are fired at shooting as they like, and accordingly there is no question of accuracy at all. At the same time, it is impossible to use such a miracle of armored vehicles at the forefront in covering MBTs, due to weak booking. Khokhlam should also come up with a concept for this development.

If understood correctly, this is a module demonstrator. And very crude. Assume to install it on the chassis of the tank. While talking about something seriously too early.

Judging by the way the trunks walk after a shot, the accuracy there is beyond winked

Well, there’s a serious slowdown, and any trunk will be walking with a whip on it. I am more interested in: how to charge these paired 2a42? Who charged the gun in the BMP-2 will understand me. So there it was one.
PySy. The shoulder straps of the tower are interesting, reinforced? And if so, how?

Ammunition of a conventional BMP-2 - 500 rounds. It is unlikely that they could put more here, so I think that the rate of fire of 1000 rounds per minute is a purely technical indicator. They will max out 500 shells and go charge)
Well, most likely donated one type of shells. They were halved by 250, and the feeding mechanisms were left as on the BMP-2.
This is my philistine opinion of the former cadet of the combined arms school wink

So here it is. And what kind of ammunition would you leave OFZ or BT? It’s hard to say, with one type of b / p-gun castrated. Recharging is a real problem.
By the way, you need to read how it is decided in the "Terminator".

I think OFZs, although knowing Ukraine, I won’t be surprised that they will be fired from one gun, OFZs, and from another BT laughing

Soon the prototype will be "stolen" and the "separatists" of the famous unrecognized republics of eastern Ukraine will issue their verdict.

This sample of surprise (see color of the name) has already been considered at VO since half a year ago. Again let the old materials in a circle!

Especially touched hatches under the barrels of guns. Rogulys cannot even make normal light armored vehicles, but they all go the same way: they imagine themselves to be a “weak cosmic power rusty”!

Well, they can’t imitate everything without us and the Russian World ... T-14 ala T-Rex on the computer, even Amosov, Antonov, Korolev, Sikorsky (Russian nationalist, monarchist, and his father was generally Black Hundred) and other Russian people, they attribute themselves to saying that they were Ukrainians.
