The BMP VN17 is armed with a 30-mm automatic cannon and a 7,62-mm machine gun. To fight against heavily armored targets, Red Arrow 12 ATGM guided missiles are installed on both sides of its tower. In this case, the crew manages all the weapons with the help of a special system that allows you to automatically track and identify targets.
VN17 accommodates up to 10 people (3 crew member and up to 7 airborne people). The weight of the machine is over 30 t, while due to the engine power of the HP 883. It can reach speeds of up to 70 km / h. Reservation BMP corresponds to the level of NATO STANAG level-6, which protects the crew and troops from small weapons and splinters. In addition, the developers say that the VN17 can be equipped with additional bottom bookings that can withstand the undermining of the 8-kilogram bomb.
