All machines are prematurely manufactured at the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant as part of the state defense order

Mi-8AMTSH military transport helicopters are one of the most modern and equipped Mi-8 / 171 helicopters. They are able to carry up to 4000 kg of cargo inside the fuselage or large-sized cargo weighing up to 4000 kg on an external suspension. A wide range of weapons and systems to increase combat survivability can effectively solve the tasks. Helicopters can be used for search and rescue and medical evacuation operations, as well as for performing special tasks.

Mi-8AMTSH helicopters are equipped with modern flight-navigation equipment and communications complex, their lighting equipment is adapted to use night-vision goggles, which allows them to fly at night at low and extremely low altitudes, as well as take off and land from unmarked platforms.
