April 27 is the anniversary of the Berkut helicopter aerobatic team of the Russian Air Force.

Aerobatic team "Berkuty" was created in 1992 year. This is the only aerobatic team in the world that performs complex group aerobatics on combat helicopters. The first demo flights took place on 11 on April 1992, at the Kubinka airfield. Then passed an air sports festival dedicated to the Day of Cosmonautics. Golden Eagles take part in various demonstration demonstration flights and aviarones. Among them: Mosaeroshow, Le Bourget, MAKS, Farnborough. Berkuts also took part in the Victory Parade and the air show dedicated to the 95 anniversary of the Air Force. In addition, the group carries out shows on various air festivals, in such cities as Moscow, Tver, Vladimir, Syzran, Tula, Ostashkov, Kimry, Rzhev.
