Five missiles were intercepted by Syrian air defense systems. It is known for certain that the Buk complexes were involved in the defense process of the base.
Despite the fact that on the night of April 9, many were expecting a US missile attack on ATS, the first suspicions fell on neighboring Israel. It is his aircraft that regularly conduct raids against the Syrian army and its allies, while not always entering the airspace of the country, but working just from Lebanon.
