The trade war of the two largest economies in the world. China accepted the US challenge

45
The Chinese authorities, who have recently called on the United States to review the restrictive measures in relation to goods produced in China, have not given concessions from Washington. As a result, introduced a response. Starting today, new Chinese regulations are coming in on American products. A sharp increase in duties awaits 128 goods exported by the United States to China.

Information is published on its official website by the Ministry of Finance of China, emphasizing the fact that this is a response measure to protect the Chinese market.

Thus, the duties on American meat imported into China, grow immediately by a quarter. Fees on fruits (including dried fruits) and juices are on 15%, on wines - on 15%.

It should be noted that China is the largest importer of fruits and pork from the United States.

Earlier, Donald Trump ordered an increase in trade duties on imports of steel (by 25%) and aluminum (by 10%) from China.

In connection with the events in world trade, it can be stated that the World Trade Organization and all its principles are virtually crossed out by the United States. According to Robert Azeved, WTO Director General, in connection with the unilateral increase in duties without taking into account the provisions of the WTO charter in the world, a trade war of “all against all” can break out. And its "military operations" are already visible - between the first two economies of the world.

Retaliatory measures are simply necessary; Russia, together with China, must strike at American trade.

Of course it would be good, but Russia is not able to "hit" now, the only thing we are capable of and should do now is to maintain our position in the EU gas sector
And here it would not hurt us a little "fuss"

We must develop our capabilities and offer their product for export to China. In particular, Crimea could get an excellent chance for the promotion of goods.

If the American "tricks" in two positions turn into losses for China at $ 60 billion, then how much will the US cost retaliatory Chinese measures for 128 positions of goods? Surely mattresses will hiccup a couple of times more and they will roundly eyes naively ask: - "And what for us?"

Although mattress and EU sanctions have helped our agricultural sector to increase production volumes, they mainly cover Russia's own needs. So far, they are not enough to enter any noticeably into such a large market as the Chinese, except perhaps by grain. In the short term, the situation is unlikely to change significantly.
But Trump clearly did not start from the wrong end, in connection with which the US losses from a trade war with China will be higher than the gain. Yes, and the stability of the global dollar system is not good, which I personally am very pleased.

There were even projects such as linking the course to energy. Type, in the end, the production of any product requires a certain amount of energy. Now by the way, the dollar type is linked to hydrocarbons. That is energy. So, indirectly, also to energy. The only difference will be that with an explicit link, countries with not only natural energy reserves, but also generating capacities will benefit. And such uh ... states like the Vatican will lose a lot.

Well, so far the multicurrency system seems to be right. For calculations, some reference monetary unit may be used, the issue of which may be carried out by a certain international bank that does not have control over one “pole” of the world. There is progress. And even an alternative to "swift" exists. It is necessary to smoothly finish the buck, not sharply. This is now being done - at the preparatory stage. The United States is playing along with this. After the collapse, the global economy will recover for a long time. It will hurt everyone, but it is necessary to exclude the practice of free domination of one country over others. This is the "MMM" of global scale.

You can rejoice at any US problem as much as you like, but if you turn on your head, it becomes clear that Russia needs to pray that the trade war does not last forever. Because it will slow down the global economy. Accordingly, global demand for energy (falling prices) and other raw materials will fall. And this is a new crisis for the Russian economy and a hole in the budget.

Trump announced an increase in fees for all suppliers with some reservations for Canada and Mexico. China's share of steel imports is 0.8%!
The whole topic of the “trade war with China over duties” is a fly-blown fly and an informational occasion for the media.
China has introduced retaliatory measures for the very fact of these measures: US $ 3 billion exported from the USA to China of “fat and seeds” (for which China increased duties). This is less than zilch.
The EU is also threatening to "take action" ... to introduce duties on Harley-Davidson motorcycles and bourbon. And also on stepladders and pans. It will be a cruel blow to the United States. The trade sector is also about 3 billion. What does this amount mean for America? To sneeze is not even enough.
