Russia is ready to report bad news to the Baltics

72
For a long time, the Baltic States and Ukraine performed important transit functions for Russia. Through the territories of these states, trains with Russian goods went to the European Union. Revenues from transit formed up to 15% of the Baltic countries' GDP, that is, they were a strategically important source. However, it was the Balts themselves who did everything possible to break these ties.

Continuous anti-Russian rhetoric, up to direct insults, deployment of NATO forces, attempts to rewrite historical events, scandals with the demolition of monuments and much more. All this led to the fact that our country began to build its new transshipment facilities, as well as to upgrade existing ones.

As a result, over the past decade, the turnover of Russian ports has doubled, and the Baltic profits from Russian transit have halved. In the 10 months of last year alone, the turnover of the port of Tallinn decreased by more than 9%, and that of the Riga port by more than 7%.

You're not right. Balts are fighting for cleanliness and ecology. They do not need any enterprises from which only concern and pollution of something there. And so they have a clear sky, clean grass, and so on, clean and almost untouched.
I had to hear precisely these reasons at the closure of enterprises. By the way, * the latest * research * by ecologists * have established that cows and other farm animals destroy something in the * ecology * or increase it.
Apparently touched the struggle for * ecology * for the future.

Strongly agree with you. Let them return to the "roots". They cut down forests, eat one potato, drink their milk, always obey the American gentleman and in every way please him. Here it is the true independence of the Baltic. Technique more complicated than a hoe should be made outside the Baltic states.

All this is beautifully presented, but the American administration of the Baltic countries and Ukraine is least concerned about the welfare of these countries and their citizens. In a simple: "The worse they feel, the better America is." that’s the whole strategy. The rest is verbal and informational cover.

Oh dear! do not think that, they say, our non-productive periphery of the EU without clear sources of income for the state will be able to maintain this, no doubt, "high" level of salaries.
He who has eyes will see - behind the pride of his kind, power hides the barely breathing survival of the average citizen with the full support of those close to the public sector.
          > Small and medium-sized businesses are tightening the noose
          > transit of resources and products with Russia is severely limited,
          > State Service Income (tax) cuts the average citizen, like an experienced pickpocket of a fast sleeping
          > about the village - there is nothing to say at all - there are only enthusiasts (I take off my hats),
          > all productive and energetic youth strive to go abroad (because you can't raise a family here! What other criterion did you expect from the youth? Patriotism? In conditions when the authorities abuse their position, hiding behind this term to divide by nationality? Now this is just an empty word , a bogeyman for a still immature generation.
Can you hardly see - How does the people live? If so, then with all due respect, only the grave will correct.

and how many people in the Baltic States do not receive the minimum wage, but are interrupted by benefits. You know in 2012, not by hearsay knowing how people live in the Baltic states (my relatives live all over Estonia and I myself am half Estonian), I could confidently say that in our Donbass people who want to work live better than in There were also more opportunities for Estonia to legally earn money.

And you only have bread and some water for these dezhas and what is cheaper. We in Europe spend one trip to the super market for 200-300 euros. But in addition to the minimum wage, he does not have a minimum pension from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, but he still has to save a lot. The main share of shipments of Belarus through the ports of the Baltic states is made by the products of BelorusKali, a fertilizer called potash. More precisely - its semi-finished product. To drive Belarusian potash through the ports of Russia is economically unprofitable. From the Russian side, coal and anthracite flow in a massive stream. The reason is the insufficient capacity of the ports of St. Petersburg, Vyborg and Ust-Luga. Kaliningrad, on the other hand, works if not at the limit, then the transit fee also falls into the price of the starting cost of the goods.
It should be added that the distance to Russian ports is noticeably greater than to Klaipeda, Ventspils, Riga and Tallinn. And this is both additional fuel and the time spent on additional mileage.

Maybe something has changed in the world, but the cheapest transport is sea, i.e. on a piece of iron in the same direction will be more expensive. If the movement of goods to the south, then the railway option preferable. This is in terms of economics, and if with politics, then earn extra money by tariffs and cargo will go past the tribalts. You should pay for boorish behavior. And the FSA gets its click on the nose - it’s their pugs getting poorer, and they can soon start snarling at the owner.

Potash is actually a fossil mineral containing potassium, Belarus trades in fertilizers based on potassium, phosphorus and nitrogen. Syrian phosphorites are transported to Belarus through Lithuanian ports to compensate for fluctuations in the supply of apatites from the Kola Peninsula. One of the main cargoes that pass through the Baltic ports, along with mineral fertilizers, is light petroleum products.

During the Serbian war, the West declared an embargo on the supply of petroleum products to Serbia. When Russia tried to send its petroleum products to Serbia, these small ones refused to ship them. They were not yet in the EU or NATO, but, in the long run, they waved. It is clear that Putin, as soon as he came to power, began to build a port in Ust-Luga, then in Murmansk.
And the saddest thing for the Balts is that a reverse move is impossible in principle: money invested, jobs created. To bend in the opposite direction is useless.
And the funny thing is that for Ukrainians a visual lesson did not go in vain.
And the clock is ticking, Putin is playing for a long time and inevitably.

The main goal is to squeeze as many Russians out of the Baltic as possible. For this, the New Wave festival was closed, for this, a law on training only in Latvian was adopted, for this there are fines for speaking in Russian at the workplace, for this they send Russian diplomats. It is known that up to 70% work in ports and on the railway Russian. You are glad that the Russians will be left without work. They will sell their apartments to the Latvians because they will not be able to pay for them and no one knows where to go! Do not be ashamed? Where are you strong, self-respecting Russia?
About 30% of real estate in Jurmala belongs to the Russians, about 1600 conscience enterprises, recently the Americans closed a bank that laundered Russian money - is that how you push Latvia? I don’t know how in Latvia. But the other day I was traveling in Lithuania from Kaliningrad to Kaunas. It seems that a pestilence has passed through the country. There are practically no oncoming cars. Where everything is not clear. Only on the Vilnius-Berlin highway is a high density of cars (mainly trucks). Kaunas is also empty. I did not find traffic jams. It is a pleasure to drive compared to Kaliningrad. Familiar Lithuanians save on everything. Gas is connected to the house, but they are heated with briquettes and firewood. So more profitable. Save light. The TV is even turned off from the outlet so that the LED power lamp does not wind on the counter. In the house the cold is utterly cold. somewhere plus 15. We slept in clothes and left the next day. We are not used to such amenities. Opposite across the road is a police station. And our Lithuanian friends (native Lithuanians from 7 tribes) say to us: “You put your car behind our house so that you can’t see it from the road. But it’s not enough, the police will get to the bottom. Good luck, Lithuania. Accept our condolences. The EU steers !

What are we without the wise, great and mighty Russian people - an empty place. And then they cut off transit, too much harm will be. Maybe it’s not necessary, otherwise we’ll probably die soon. belay

25 years from year to year, bad news has been reported to the Baltic states ... and they have been protecting Russian speakers. The results of neither the first nor the second are not visible. Here are the American "partners" pressed the genitals to local banks - immediately felt. And to all.

By the way, in half a year another language reform is introduced in Latvian schools. What do you think - will we hear something from Russia? Oh yes! The elections have passed !!! But for fun I'll observe.

Maybe enough of this domestic consumer goods? The Russians do not care deeply for those who have remained overboard, and those who have remained overboard are engaged in their own salvation.

While the American "button" will be feeding the clearing 300 km from Pskov, and those who do not get lure will leave and dissolve in Europe.

      Who are you scaring?
