Species exercises of the units of the Air and Space Forces of Russia took place at the test site of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Ashuluk in the Astrakhan Region. 12 high-altitude interceptors MiG-31BM, 4 light fighters MiG-29, as well as various air defense systems were deployed to the test site.
The planes worked to intercept air targets, and then long-range Tu-22М3 bombers, which had flown in from other regions of the country, struck ground targets.
Missile firing of the Pantsir-SM air defense systems, which, by the way, was located on the KAMAZ-6560M chassis, as well as the C-300 and C-400 air defense systems, also took place. It is noteworthy that the detection of targets for the latter was carried out by the newest high-altitude radar station "Yenisei", which should become part of the C-500 "Prometheus" complex.
To date, data on the new radar in the public domain is not.
