Serial deliveries of the Precision sniper rifle will begin this year

Serial deliveries of the Accuracy sniper rifle to Russian security officials will begin this year, said Dmitry Semizorov, head of the Central Research Institute of Precision Engineering (TsNIITOCHMASH).

The rifle was put into service in the interests of the Federal Security Service (FSO), the Rosguard and the Federal Security Service (FSB). This year we are starting serial deliveries.

Only government agencies that have solid experience working with the Russian military-industrial complex can coordinate all work, as well as tailor tactical and technical requirements to the wishes of the security forces, correctly prepare and execute documentation (in fact, this is a big problem). Finally, the domestic law enforcement agencies themselves so far prefer to cooperate with state-owned companies, rather than with private ones. Apparently, precisely for these reasons, the order to create a new sniper complex was eventually issued by TsNIITOCHMASH JSC from the city of Klimovsk (Moscow Region). The start of work on the project was announced at the end of 2013. In the course of work, about 5000 changes were made to the basic design of the Orsis T-200 sniper rifle.
