Satanovsky about those who deserve to be shot in Russia
43
The well-known Russian expert on the Middle East, Yevgeny Satanovsky, aired the Sunday Night program in a controversy with Sergei Oznobishchev, director of the Institute of Strategic Assessment. The discussion was conducted on the topic of the effectiveness of domestic foreign policy in the 90s of the last century. In those years, our country practically lost its sovereignty, an oligarchy sat in the Kremlin, and the army was disarmed on orders from overseas.
Oznobishchev was of the opinion that the disarmament of our country made it possible to avoid a world conflict with the Western powers. The fact that the weakness of our army could have been the cause of the NATO attack was not at all embarrassing to the expert.
It should be recalled that Sergei Oznobishchev at the end of the 80s was part of a delegation from the USSR in negotiations with the United States on limiting the number of conventional offensive weapons in Europe. By the way, the CFE Treaty was suspended by Vladimir Putin in 2007 year.
