We are together! 4-th anniversary of the reunification of the Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia
When you talk about those already historical events of March 2014, with Crimeans, many, without any exaggeration, have tears in their eyes. These are tears of joy from the fact that they, people who have never spiritually and mentally separated from Russia, received for the first time in many years real support from where they had long been waiting for. Greater Russia came to the Crimea, and Crimea came to greater Russia, giving a truly huge impetus to the overall development.
No difficulties, no external insinuations could not break the will to unity. No provocations have become and will not be a reason to doubt the correctness of the chosen solution. We are together, and this is the most important thing!
From the statement of the Minister of Internal Policy, Information and Communication of the Republic of Crimea Dmitry Polonsky for Sputnik in the Crimea:
On the eve of the 4 anniversary of the reunification of the Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia, on the Malakhov Kurgan a grandiose patriotic festival “We Are Together!” Was held. The festival told the residents and guests of Sevastopol about the historical achievements that were achieved by our ancestors. Thus, the pictures of the heroic defense of the city came to life on the Defensive Tower of the Kornilov Bastion. The spectators saw the images of the legendary admirals Kornilov, Istomin, Nakhimov, who defended Sevastopol during the Crimean War, the images of Major Mozdalevsky and Lieutenant Commander Matyukhin, who commanded heroic units during the second defense.
Sevastopol and all Crimeans arrived to congratulate and foreign guests. In particular, we are talking about participation in the festival of New Zealand pipers musicians from Christchurch.
Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov in Simferopol congratulated not only Crimeans, but also all compatriots on the 4 anniversary of the Crimean Spring, which presented to the world something that cannot be overestimated. This is the possibility of a real democratic choice against the background of the frank pseudo-democracy, which the well-known foreign “partners” and “friends of Crimea” are trying to powder and retouch.
The reunification of the Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia, in fact, can hardly be called just an event. By and large, this is something dominant that has breathed into a country that lives by a strange constitutional norm without an ideological core, a spirit of opportunity and unbelievable prospects. Someone may well dispute this, declare that the prospects or their absence can in no way be related to the results of the Crimean referendum and the then decision of President Vladimir Putin, but all this will be sly. After all, it was after the reunification of the Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia that our country actually turned the dark page that was written after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Citizens felt that the country has not only a huge territory, but also a great sense of self-worth. The country has a banner - this is the unity of nations, the country has faith in itself, the country has that very important pivot, without which both sovereignty and statehood would remain beautiful, but empty, with words.
Historical shots provide an opportunity again and again to experience the incredible emotions that the country experienced 18 March 2014. Footage from the rally in Sevastopol. The city rejoices:
On such a day, I would not like to say about the "politics of partners", but still. This popular jubilation eloquently shows why this West has endless hatred towards Russia, why Russia is exposed to "horror and hell on Earth." There is one reason: for the West, “molten lead in the throat”, when Russians (in the broadest sense of the word) live in the world and have a reason for real joy, happiness. But these are already personal problems and complexes of the West - let them look for a professional psychotherapist for treatment.
And we, the country - a holiday! Present! People!
Military Review congratulates all compatriots on the 4th anniversary of the reunification of Crimea and Sevastopol with Russia. Fate has given us all the opportunity to become contemporaries of this great event in the history of the country.
