The unique "Crimean Wave" is ready to launch

11
In 2014, the Republic of Crimea returned to the Russian Federation. The economic development of the region has become a strategic task and has attracted investment in one of the most important areas in the economy - tourism. Simferopol Airport is the main air gate of the Crimea and for the past four years is one of the ten Russian harbors in terms of transported passengers.

Passenger traffic at Simferopol Airport in 2017 amounted to more than 5 million people. By the number of domestic destinations served by the airport is the leader in its segment. Regular flights here are performed by more than 15 domestic airlines. The capacity of the existing terminals today is only 1200 people per hour, which does not allow to cope with the increased passenger traffic.

So there was an urgent need to build a new modern airport complex.

Commentator say that the total roof area is 30 sq m, of course I understand that the lid is huge, but where does 000 sq km come from?) Maybe 30 sq km ...

What are 30 sq km ???? What do you have with math?
        30 sq.m = 000 x 300 meters (METERS, KARL!)
        300 meters is 0.3 km. 100 meters = 0.1 km.
        Multiply: 0.3 x0.1 = 0.03 sq. Km !!

Come on ... The bridge will open, people will fly less. And paravoziki will launch - TVK and yours. So this reconstruction project is most likely a banal money-washer than an urgent need.

Crimea has long been in need of a NEW, MODERN airport building and this need will not be removed by road or rail. And the building that is currently being used will be reconstructed into a bus terminal.

WE KNOW so. How do you imagine a trip even from Yekaterinburg to Crimea ... that by train, that by car it is about three days, and by plane a couple of hours. And this is only from the Urals, and all that is east ... So that the air transportation will remain
In addition, after landing, the aircraft makes a “voyage” to the airport terminal within 15 minutes, while the new building is much more conveniently located.

From the Pacific part of the Russian Federation to Taurida it is much more difficult to get than to China, Japan, Thailand and Korea! Hotels in China are still cheaper than in Russia.
