Today at the Nizhny Novgorod aircraft manufacturing plant Sokol (a branch of RSK MiG) the grand opening of a new site for painting the units of the newest aviation complex MiG-35, as well as the high-altitude interceptor MiG-31 took place- Reported the press service.
In the 2017 year, we fully and on time at the Sokol plant fulfilled the state defense order for the modernization of the MiG-31 fighters, reporting among the first. In order to achieve high rates of delivery, we opened the painting site of the units, equipped with the latest automated equipment for painting a wide range of products ... All the painting process controls are automated and allow you to remotely monitor the temperature, humidity and other parameters inside the chamber- quoted by the press service of the corporation's general director Ilya Tarasenko.
The building in which the new site is located meets all the requirements for the organization of modern production, industrial safety and labor protection. It is equipped with the latest generation equipment - an automated spray-drying chamber, which allows to adjust all the necessary operating parameters with high precision, as well as modern engineering infrastructure, convenient facilities for personnel.
Previously, when painting some parts of the aircraft, we used spray guns and grinders. It was outdated and low-performance equipment. Now we have a fully automated camera, the operating modes of which can be remotely monitored even by one specialist.- noted the senior master of the painting site Sergey Beketov.
Also on the site will be the work of painting the units and assemblies for the MiG-29М / М2, MiG-29К / KUB aircraft and for the IL-114 civil liner.
