President - FSB: We need to protect the country from those who parasitize it

Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at a meeting of the board of the Federal Security Service, said that the FSB should more effectively fight corruption. According to the president of the country, the special service should counteract those who parasitize the country, robbing both the state and citizens.
President Putin noted that the task for the FSB is to protect against both external and internal threats.

The life, rights and security of our citizens should be protected from both internal and external threats, from any attempts to prevent us from solving the tasks of strategic development.
Vladimir Putin said that Russia should be reliably protected from intervention attempts, which aim to hinder the implementation of strategic development objectives.
In addition, at a meeting of the Federal Security Service Board, the activities of the special services for 2017 were summed up.
