Kedmi: Russia has threatened the entire southern flank of NATO

The Russian base in Syria has now changed the balance of power in the Middle East region. Russian aviation and air defense systems control everything within a radius of more than 400 km. And in the near future, when the logistics point in Tartus, as well as the air base in Khmeimim will be converted to permanent bases, the Russian Armed Forces will be able to jeopardize the entire southern flank of NATO, right up to Portugal.

Israeli expert Jacob Kedmi is confident that after the end of the antiterrorist operation in Syria, the Russian VKS will deploy long-range aviation to this country. Tu-22М3 bombers carrying cruise missiles will be capable of striking all NATO naval bases in the Mediterranean.

That is why, according to Kedmi, it is extremely important for Americans not to let Damascus stabilize the situation inside the country.
