The State Emergency Service of Ukraine, with reference to the department of the Transcarpathian region, reports on another attack on the building of the Union of Hungarians of Transcarpathia in Uzhgorod. This is the second arson attack in the last few weeks, after the Hungarian authorities announced that they would block any EU-and Euro-Atlantic efforts of Ukraine, until it repeals the discriminatory Education Act. Information about the attack on the office of the Union of Hungarians of Transcarpathia confirms Uzhgorod national police.

Employees of the Uzhgorod police station and the General Directorate of the National Police in the Transcarpathian region establish all the circumstances of the fire on the Orthodox embankment in Uzhgorod.
Today, February 27, in the morning hours at 3, the 102 line received a message from employees of the Department of State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region. Rescuers reported a fire in an office building on Orthodox Embankment in Uzhgorod.
Employees of the Uzhgorod police station and the General Directorate of the National Police in the Transcarpathian region worked at the scene. Militiamen find out all circumstances of a fire. According to this fact, criminal proceedings were instituted under the h. 2 Art. 194 CC, that is, the intentional destruction or damage to property, committed by arson, explosion or in any other generally dangerous way, or caused property damage in especially large amounts. Such an offense is punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to fifteen years. As a result of the fire, no one was hurt. The amount of damage is established. On the further course of the investigation of the case will be reported additionally.
Recall that Hungary took the most tough position on the adopted by Kiev law "On Education", which gradually eliminates education in the languages of national minorities.
