A strike on an air base in Syria: the work of "Shell-S" first hit the video
13
Activists supporting the legitimate government of Damascus published video footage of the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and cannon system. According to the Syrians, the anti-aircraft missile successfully intercepted an object that threatened the Al-Dumair airbase, which is located north of East Guta.
The type and ownership of the object has not been established, but a number of sources report that it could be an Israeli rocket launched from Lebanese airspace. This assumption is indirectly confirmed by the fact that after an unsuccessful rocket attack, the terrorists who are fighting with the government army in the area, launched an offensive. Such well-coordinated work of the Israelis and militants could be observed earlier.
The Pantsir-S complexes are in service with the Syrian air defense since 2008. At the moment, Damascus has about 50 complexes 96K6.
