Exclusive: the arctic "Tor-M2DT" works on goals

12
A new arctic version of the well-known air defense system "Tor-M2DT" conducted training and combat shooting at target missiles at the Kapustin Yar proving ground. Targets imitated enemy cruise missiles, and the shooting itself took place under conditions of active interference.

During the tests, the accuracy of targeting anti-aircraft missiles during firing was verified. It is worth noting that the air defense system is capable of firing four targets at once.

The Tor-M2DT anti-aircraft missile systems, which were first presented at the Victory Parade 9 of May 2017, will soon have to be tested in the harsh conditions of the Arctic. Crews will also undergo retraining.

The Tor-М2DT air defense complex was created on the basis of the DT-30 all-terrain vehicle. Its wide tracks effectively distribute the pressure on the ground, which makes it possible to move even through the marshland. The separation of the conveyor into two parts adds mobility complex.

I have one feeling that the importance of the Arctic as a theater of operations is overestimated by our command?

You forgot, sir, about two foreign interventions in Arkhangelsk, moreover, with an interval of two centuries! Dreaming of a third?

and where did the anti-aircraft guns go?

They were not there initially. "TOP" is a SAM. Apparently, you confuse it with the "Shell", which really has no guns in the Arctic version, but the number of launchers has increased (it has become 18). But also a variant of the classic "Shell" for the Arctic is also possible:

You, apparently, have beguiled "Shell" ..). "Thor" never had guns, was a "clean" SAM
