Servicemen of units and divisions of electronic warfare (EW) of the Central Military District have begun to work out practical actions in the course of combat training in the field, the press service of the district reports.

Within the framework of the field exit, the issues of radio-electronic protection of their troops from missile strikes and aviation, and also suppression of networks and communication lines of the conditional opponent

- said in a statement.

The servicemen will perform tasks with the use of various newer complexes of the EW units in service. At the end of the camps, control classes will be held on special, physical and fire training.

Practical exercises in the field are the initial stage of preparing EW military personnel for the electronic frontier-2018 competition, the press service explained
