36
A YouTube video of Directorate 4, which monitors military and terrorist activity in the Middle East, has been posted on the Web, showing the indiscriminate striking of the Turkish Air Force in the Afrin area. It is noted that the plane of the Turkish air force carried out the bombing of the Syrian territory (north of Aleppo province), where there are no positions of armed Kurdish troops PYD / PKK.
Kurdish information sources have reported that during the Turkish operation "Olive Branch" in Afrin and its surroundings more than 60 civilians have already died, more than a hundred were injured and injured as a result of shelling and bombardment.
In Turkey itself, the media call this kind of publication fake. In particular, it was announced that the video was shot a few months ago and has nothing to do with the Olive Branch operation in Africa.
Against this background, the West continues to strongly criticize Erdogan’s actions in northern Syria. Thus, Canadian Foreign Minister Hristia Freeland criticized Erdogan. According to Freeland, representing the country of NATO, which includes Turkey, Ankara "violates international law and neglects human rights."
Erdogan himself responds by saying that he is doing “everything to preserve the integrity of Syria” of the military operation in the north of the SAR.
