French media publish reports that two military helicopters were wrecked in the south of France. The crash occurred in the Var department (administrative center - Toulon). It is reported that five people were killed on board. At the same time, two servicemen performed a training flight on one helicopter, three on the other.

        - Some force majeure, then it will be clear. It’s dangerous in the air, especially with the blades ...

Well, if a couple walked nearby and crashed into some kind of mountain in SMU? Wait for the results of the investigation before being ironic on such a topic. I only sympathize with the relatives of the dead pilots.

Why irony? I’m really wondering what could have shot down two helicopters at once.
A natural phenomenon, terrorism or the notorious human factor. Most likely the latter, but if something else is very interesting.

Yeah, yeah. It's like on the Mi-2. In principle, they are almost the weather and the "stage" was not there. And where are we in the Army, or the Mi-2 Air Force? wassat

Nah, there was another, Alouette II. Gazelle later appeared in the film, it will be newer.

Gu is already completely stoned, you have to be what to face
For example - flying in a pair and a sudden loss of control of one of them. all coincidences in the most seemingly incredible combinations cannot be imagined in advance. The banter here is inappropriate, especially during the tragedy.

and I didn’t jest, of course - never say never, but flying in a pair and colliding is an idiotic version, so there’s something else

Yes, how many airborne collisions in the air! - and therefore this is by no means the "idiotic version." Alas, this happens for a variety of reasons (both in pairs and not in pairs). Remember at least the collision of aircraft over Lake Constance - the reason, I think, need not be reminded. And how many cases even in aerobatic teams. And with helicopters cases no less.

they flew over instruments and under the guidance of a dispatcher, and the speeds were completely different; here they flew according to the rules of visual flight, and, moreover, in pairs, so they could not a priori know about the presence of a second car

On the road, we also know about the presence of other cars, but, unfortunately, this does not completely save us from an accident ...

I did not quite understand: you are disputing the possibility of a collision between two helicopters, despite the fact that there were quite a few such collisions in aviation history, and you think that only "completely stoned" pilots could collide? Then I'd rather take my leave.
