Everything is ready for the beginning of the Belarusian-Russian paratroopers exercise
From 17 to 19 on April, a joint Belarusian-Russian battalion tactical exercise of the Special Operations Forces and the Airborne Forces will be held on the territory of the Gozhsky training ground (Grodno, Republic of Belarus).
From the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Russia, the 76 unit of the Airborne Assault Airborne Division (Pskov) will take part in the exercise.
The armed forces of Belarus will be represented at the exercise by the battalion 103 of a separate brigade of the Special Operations Forces (Vitebsk).
At the time of the exercise, Belarusian paratroopers will provide their Russian colleagues with communications equipment, small arms and ammunition, vehicles and armored personnel carriers.
Russian paratroopers are already in the territory of the union state. Their transfer was carried out by a military transport aircraft aviation The Russian Air Force to the Belarusian airfield Lida, from where they were transported by road to the area of the exercise.
The exercise is conducted in accordance with the Plan of Cooperation between the military departments of Russia and Belarus.
