We propose to apply a rigorous scientific approach to solving the problem under discussion, which, it seems to us, is the most significant for all mankind. How can this thesis be explained to all participants in the discussion, in order to proceed to its competent resolution?
To do this, we propose to apply the latest scientific results, which, to date, are beginning to receive international recognition. Here we are talking about the concept of the substrate approach, which is based on the ideas of achieving a systemic effect. Unfortunately, this theory is poorly understood by contemporaries, since it is developed at the level of philosophical knowledge and is accepted by readers as something exotic, divorced from life. To overcome this contradiction we will try in a popular form, unobtrusively explaining to readers some key points of this theory.
So, we are talking about the possibility of applying high science in solving the burning question of the existence of life on Earth.

A detailed algorithm for solving this problem was obtained by the author in the form of a computer model. The only, as it seems to the author, major disadvantage of this approach is the need to possess the participants of such a simulation with some special knowledge and a special way of thinking, which is called substrate reflection.
