Global non-nuclear strike Moscow is no longer threatened
FLAGMAN OF THE DOMESTIC PARENT OF FIGHTERS
Literally from the beginning of the 2018 of the year, after the completion of state tests of lightweight multifunctional MiG-35, the Russian Aircraft Manufacturing Corporation (RSK) MiG will start to fulfill the state order for the production of the installation batch of these fighters. In total under the state order 24 machines are listed. Serial deliveries of the aircraft to the Air and Space Forces (VKS) of Russia are stipulated by the state armament program (GPV) of Russia in 2018 – 2027.
The take-off weight of the aircraft is 19,2 t, the maximum is 24,5 t, the maximum speed at height is 2100 km / h, and on the ground 1400 km / h. The practical ceiling is 16 km, the range with air-to-air missiles and three outboard fuel tanks (PTB) is 1000 – 1400 km, depending on the composition of weapons and the height of the flight, with strike weapons and three PTBs - 800 – 1100 km. Maximum operating overload - 9,0 g.
MiG-35 belongs to the “4 ++” generation, this is a transitional link to the fifth generation fighter. The aircraft’s electronic equipment allows it to carry everything aviation means of destruction. The MiG-35 is already inherent in the elements of fifth-generation aircraft. A fighter is capable of simultaneously capturing ten targets, it is inconspicuous and multi-functional. The Russian military declares: the entire fleet of VKS light fighters will be replaced by the MiG-35.
In the 2018, the VKS will receive two or three fighters from the first installation batch of the fifth-generation Su-12 aircraft in 57. Pre-production is scheduled for 2019. Today, prototypes fly with the engine "Product 117", which has already been launched into mass production. The first flight with the engine of the second stage, one of the experimental machines successfully completed at the end of last year. In terms of fuel efficiency and specific gravity, it will significantly surpass the “117 Product”, and in terms of design and technological performance and the level of achieved parameters, it will correspond to the world level of the fifth generation engine.
Su-57 - fifth generation aircraft. He has a radically new avionics complex and a promising radar with a phased antenna array. Su-57 will be equipped with cruise missiles, air-to-air missiles, conventional weapons, high-precision weaponswhich is almost imperceptible to radar recognition, 30-mm aircraft cannon. For the fighter there are six fundamentally new missiles. Four samples of intra-body missiles are already being tested.
The military has high hopes for the Su-57 as the flagship of the national fleet of fighters in the future.
The domestic military-industrial complex approached the creation of the first prototype of a promising long-range aviation complex (PAK DA). This multifunctional aircraft will replace the Tu-22М3, Tu-95MS, and a bit later, the Tu-160. A new strategic bomber can be presented to the public already in 2018, at the same time it is planned to conduct the first flight of the Tu-160М2.
The Sy-30 and Su-35 fighters that have proven themselves in Syria, as well as the Ka-52 and Mi-28H helicopters will continue to be procured.
And the final touch: the next batch of deck fighters Su-33 is equipped with a special computing subsystem SVP-24-33 manufactured by Gefest-T. The subsystem allows you to "lay" exactly at the target, even far from new unguided aerial bombs. After upgrading, the Su-33 will be able to work effectively not only on air, but also on land and sea targets. The equipment of this SVP and Su-24M, Tu-22М3 bombers will continue.
SPACE SEGMENT
In the coming year, the aerospace forces will have to master the single continuous radar field created in Russia for the first time, as well as to continue the experimental-combat operation of the newly launched Unified Space System (CEN), which provides the space segment of the Russian missile attack warning system. It should warn the military-political leadership of the country about a rocket attack in order to make a decision on delivering a retaliatory strike.
The system works in conjunction with the over-the-horizon radar located in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. TSA will detect missile launch with hypersonic aircraft, and the Voronezh radar will take them to escort in the upper atmosphere and determine their targets. The global non-nuclear strike no longer threatens Russia.
"CALIBRATION" of the Navy
The development of high-precision weapons is called the main priority of the new state weapons program HPV-2027. The troops will be equipped with high-precision airborne, land-based and sea-based weapons, along with a nuclear triad, unmanned attack systems, personal equipment for military personnel, the latest intelligence, communications and electronic warfare systems.
The separation of weapons systems on the "platform" and "ammunition" occurred a long time ago. On the one hand, this is the construction of tanks, cannons, airplanes, helicopters, on the other - guided munitions, cruise, aeroballistic and hypersonic missiles. Particularly fiercely defenders about the benefits of both approaches argued at the end of last year.
Recall that the most important objects of the terrorists were destroyed by high-precision Caliber missiles, X-101 and X-55, as well as Iskander tactical complex missiles (OTRK). It is obvious that even an old aircraft with new high-precision ammunition gets serious opportunities. Those X-101 can carry upgraded Tu-95MSM bombers. And for the use of "Caliber" does not need aircraft carriers, rather ordinary diesel submarines and small rocket ships.
According to the plans, new hypersonic rockets will arrive in the troops. In the future, a hypersonic weapon will shift the strategic deterrence forces from the nuclear to the non-nuclear. And the damage to the enemy, if armed clashes happen, will be inflicted no less powerful, while at the same time a third party not involved in the conflict will suffer.
High-precision weapons reduce the need for contact with the enemy. High accuracy of shooting increases the striking force of shells, allowing you to save on their number and, most importantly, save the lives of soldiers.
Tactical Missile Weapons Corporation begins testing unique “715 product”. This new cruise missile is actually a smaller version of the X-101. The novelty will be part of the armament of Tu-22М3 long-range bombers. It can also be used by front-line bombers Su-34, fighters Su-30, Su-35 and Su-57.
Using the X-101 and the “715 product,” the video conferencing system will be able to fight both the high-tech adversary and the terrorists.
In their turn, sea-based cruise missiles (KLMB) “Caliber” are currently installed on almost all warships. The military calls it “calibration.” They will replenish, in particular, the arsenal of Russian corvettes project 20380.
The outdated Tochka-U missile systems that are currently in service with the SV and Navy will be completely replaced by the Iskanders by the year of 2020. In addition, last year the formation of separate intelligence companies for special purposes began as part of combined arms armies. Their task is to find targets in the rear of the enemy and transfer their coordinates to the Iskander missile systems.
Here played the role of the experience of Syria. Special Forces officers find and identify targets on the ground, and reconnaissance and target designation equipment in real time transmit the coordinates to the PTRK launchers. The target will be guaranteed to be destroyed.
PRINCE, EMPEROR AND GENERALISSIMUS
The Russian Navy plans to receive in 2018 a strategic missile submarine (SSBN) of the Borey-A type and two newest frigates of the 22350 project. The Prince Vladimir rocket carrier of the Borey-A type, laid out in 2012 on Sevmash with the participation of Vladimir Putin, was launched in November on the 2017. The fourth-generation SSBN “Prince Vladimir” was designed at the Central Design Bureau for Marine Engineering “Rubin”. Its total displacement is 24 thousand tons, length - 170 m, width - 13,5 m.
This ship, according to military sailors, compared to the previous typical project, the Borey has improved tactical and technical characteristics of almost all systems and is capable of carrying the P-16 Bulava sea-based ICBMs on board before 30. This is the future of the Russian group of naval strategic nuclear forces. Four more Boreas-A are built on the stocks of Sevmash: “Prince Oleg”, “Generalissimo Suvorov”, “Emperor Alexander the Third” and “Prince Pozharsky”. It is possible that the fleet will receive a new strategic submarine 17 December 2018 of the year - the day of the 60 anniversary of the nuclear submarine fleet of Russia. Until the middle of the 2020-s it is planned to complete the construction of all the cruisers of this project.
The Severodvinsk shipyard is also building multi-purpose nuclear-powered submarine missile cruisers (APRC) of the Yasen-M type. In July, the 2017 of the year was laid by the Ulyanovsk APRK. It will be the sixth in the line of submarines of the project developed by the Malachite St. Petersburg Maritime Engineering Bureau named after Academician N. N. Isanin.
The lead ship, the Kazan agronomy ship, was launched in March 2017 and undergoes factory tests. APRK "Novosibirsk", "Krasnoyarsk", "Arkhangelsk", "Perm" are at different stages of construction. They are armed with mines, torpedoes of caliber 533 mm, cruise missiles "Caliber-PL" and "Onyx". Submarine cruisers of this project, which are being built in a large series, will become the main multipurpose nuclear submarines of the Russian Navy.
As part of the new HPV, new and modernized ships of the far sea and ocean zones will continue to enter the Russian Navy. The most massive ship in this segment will be a modernized frigate of the 22350 project, equipped with high-precision weapons. It is planned to build eight ships of the project.
The lead ship of this type, the Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov, is now undergoing state tests. Bypassing the trial operation, it will immediately be handed over to the fleet in 2018. The postponement of the deadlines (from the end of 2017) is connected with the demand of the Russian Navy once again to work out all the systems of the ship: the fleet "has questions" to the new defensive missile weapons, noted in the USC. Work on the second ship of the series ("Admiral Kasatonov") will be accelerated after the lead frigate is handed over. In the fleet, he can enter again in the 2018 year.
The construction of two more frigates of the series, the Admiral Golovko and the Admiral of the Soviet Union Isakov, continues at the berths of the Severnaya Verf. Thanks to the original architecture of the add-on (using stealth technology), their radar visibility has been reduced. These ships are designed to conduct combat operations in the far ocean zone against surface ships and submarines, repel attacks of air attack weapons independently and as part of a compound of ships.
The frigates of this project have a displacement of 4,5 thousand tons. Their length - 135 m; width - 15 m, travel speed - up to 29 nodes. The range of navigation is up to 4,5 thousand nautical miles, autonomy - up to 30 days. The crew is about 200 people. The ships will be armed with the Armat X-NUMX-mm A-130 artillery, Onyx or Caliber-NK anti-ship missile launchers for the 192, and Polyment-Redut anti-aircraft missile system.
Last April, in 30 miles from the Bosphorus, collided with a cargo ship and sank the average reconnaissance ship project 861M "Estuary". Therefore, the command of the Navy ship communication project 18280 "Ivan Khurs", the delivery of which is expected this year, will be sent to the Black Sea Fleet instead of the Pacific.
DREAM FOR PRO
This year, the strategic missile forces (RVSN) will continue to decommission Topol complexes and replace them with more advanced Yarsy. Within the framework of the new state armament program, the latest intercontinental Sarmat ballistic missiles with hypersonic units (4202 product) and Boundary will begin to arrive in the formations of this type of troops.
The heavy liquid ICBM of the mine-based "Sarmat" will replace the P-36М2 "Voivod". The payload "Sarmatian" 10 t against 8,75 t in its predecessor. Novelty spends less time to overcome the active part of the trajectory due to a very good energy. "Sarmat" is so powerful that it can fly to targets not only through the North Pole, but also through the South, that is, it will have almost a global firing range. The missile will be able to bypass the deployed US missile defense system. This circumstance will force the United States to create a circular missile defense system, and it is very expensive.
- A missile defense system of a potential enemy will be much harder. It will be a good splinter for him, ”Deputy Defense Minister Yury Borisov appreciated the complex.
Massively “Sarmat” will go into service in 2019 – 2020. "Voevoda" will remain on duty at least until 2024 year. Moreover, it is planned to extend the service life to 2025 – 2027. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin said that the Sarmat ICBM will overcome any missile defense system.
The PC-26 “Rubezh” mobile soil missile system will be a further development of the RS-24 “Yars” project. The PC-26 has new guided warheads to break through missile defense. The maximum range of the missile is 12 thousand km, but it can be launched at targets and at a distance from 2 to 6 thousand km.
But the work on the Barguzin battle rail missile system was not included in the new state weapons program for the 2018 – 2027 years due to a lack of funding. It was decided to focus on the projects "Sarmat" and "Frontier".
SOLDIER AUTOMATIC
The ground forces will receive new generation armored vehicles: T-90 and T-14 “Armata” tanks, BTR “Boomerang”, BMP “Kurganets-25”. Experienced military tests of the tank "Armata" plan to complete in 2018 year.
Last summer, the Ministry of Defense and Uralvagonzavod signed a contract for the supply of the latest Terminator tank support vehicles. In 2018, the military will receive more than ten units of this armored vehicle. Production of the modernized T-90M tanks for the Russian army will continue. A contract for the supply of ten self-propelled artillery "Coalition-SV" for trial military operation. The end of state tests is planned for 2019 year.
The formation of the combat equipment of the new generation “Warrior-3” has been almost completed. The units equipped with it will have autonomy, autonomy and self-sufficiency to perform many combat missions in different conditions, they will be able to integrate into reconnaissance and fire circuits.
"Warrior-3" surpasses the equipment of the armies of foreign states, including the United States, bulletproof and anti-fragmentation resistance of personal armor protection. The new equipment has a greater range of detection and recognition of targets by optoelectronic means, shooting is more efficient. It provides for the integration of microrobotic systems, drone for conducting reconnaissance by motorized rifle units on the battlefield. To enhance the physical capabilities of military personnel, it is planned to include exoskeletons in the kits.
One of the elements of equipment - small arms. The military completed tests of AK-12, AK-15 and AEK-971 assault rifles. A cheaper AK-12 can become an army soldier, more sophisticated, with more functions, the high-precision AEK-971 - to complement the weapons of special forces.
AEK-971 was created at the Degtyarev plant under the leadership of Stanislav Koksharov based on the Konstantinov machine gun (CA-006). Modifications AEK-971 called “A-545” and “A-762” (for cartridges of caliber 5,45 mm and 7,62 mm, respectively) participate in the competition of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
DRONES AND ANTIDRONES
In Russia, dozens of new unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of various nomenclatures are created annually, but the capabilities of the test sites are insufficient for research and flight design tests. Therefore, it is planned to create a network of testing sites for drones and protivodronov. It will include airfield, range and bench bases. These components can also be used by developers of UAV systems. The network of landfills will allow for a full range of test work. In the same place, they will train operators, investigate methods of UAV deployment into a single airspace.
The expert community has initiated the formation of a consolidated register of available landfills in order to start implementing a unified system of tests on a national scale. One of the main reasons is that in the near future, complexes with multi-functional unmanned aerial vehicles capable of solving not only reconnaissance, but also shock tasks will begin to arrive in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
United Aircraft Corporation is working on creating drone drone that can be organized into groups and coordinate among themselves via secure communication channels, interact in a network-centric system and with ground points. Such a complex problem is being solved in other countries.
The concept of integrating unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) into a single airspace can be adopted in Russia in May 2018. The document is being developed by the Ministry of Transport, Rosaviation and the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “State Corporation for the Organization of Air Traffic” in conjunction with the experts of the working group of the Association of Operators and Aeronet unmanned aircraft systems developers.
According to the conception of the authors of the concept, the integration of UAS will take place in two stages and will be completed in 10 years. To implement the project, it is necessary to prepare the infrastructure, determine the source of funding. The document should define the approach to the safe integration of UAS into a single environment with manned aircraft, including general-purpose. The project participants will prepare their proposals for amending the regulatory documents by May.
According to the minutes of the meeting of the Commission under the President of the Russian Federation on the development of general aviation and navigation and information technologies based on the global navigation satellite system GLONASS, the Ministry of Transport will develop a plan for the implementation of the concept immediately after approval of the document. This will happen in the second half of next year. The decisions taken will be integrated into the “Strategy for the Development of the Air Navigation System (ANS) of the Russian Federation before 2030” and the Air Navigation Plan of the Russian Federation.
Currently, unmanned aircraft (UA) flights in Russia are based on the filing of plans and permission to use airspace (TTI), but are only possible in segregated airspace, that is, the airspace is closed for manned flights. At the same time, an application for closing airspace for UAV flights is filed five (for the temporary TOR mode) or three days (for the local TTI mode) before the flight date due to the risks of unmanned and manned aircraft in a single environment. There are a number of restrictions that do not allow safe integration of UAS into the Unified Air Traffic Management System.
BILLION ON CONSTRUCTION
After the abolition of Spetsstroy 28 September 2017, the agency assumed the functions of the defense department. The military decided to reform the military construction complex (VSK). To optimize the work, the status of “only” will be 12 organizations. They will be able to proceed with the design, construction, overhaul and reconstruction of special purpose objects without competition. This saves a lot of time. In total, about 2018 trillion rubles will be allocated to the construction site in 2027 – 1 for years. In the previous state armament program such money was not provided.
As of today, eight military construction FSUEs have been created. Five of them are for the military districts and the Northern Fleet, the rest are for the construction of special objects. FGUPs with billions in debt were supposed to be able to recover. The customer management of capital construction of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will engage in the design of economic, technical, logistics, medical, residential and educational facilities for combat training, educational work and military service, and landfill infrastructure.
PERSONNEL DEFENSE RESERVE
The Russian government has begun the formation of a single personnel reserve of enterprises of the military-industrial complex. The college of the military-industrial commission (MIC), headed by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, plans to centralize information on the most valuable young employees, who can later be appointed to senior positions in various defense fields. Personnel reserve should be formed by the spring 2018 of the year.
It is about creating a list of candidates for the posts of middle and higher levels. The heads of major defense holdings were instructed to send their proposals on candidates to the MIC collegium for subsequent inclusion in the reserve. Preference will be given to specialists 35 – 45 years with higher education, proved to be, ready to move to another region, have no criminal record and obstacles to admission to information containing state secrets.
It is planned to centralize the personnel reserves of all branches of the defense industry.
LASER BY BLA
The Polyus Research Institute, the leading scientific center of Russia in the field of laser technology (part of the Shvabe holding company of the Rostec State Corporation), announced a tender for a research experimental work on the creation of a mobile laser complex to combat small-sized UAVs.
The complex should consist of a tracking system and the construction of flight paths for objects, target designation of a powerful radiation guidance system, the source of which is a liquid laser. The mobile laser complex must be able to deal with UAVs at any time of the day, detect and get detailed images of air objects up to 20 at a distance from 200 to 1500 m, distinguish a drone from a bird or a cloud, calculate a trajectory and hit targets. The project began in January, ending in April 2018.
