In Sevastopol, 8 was launched on combat duty by the crews of the C-400 anti-aircraft missile system. The deployment of complexes solemnly took place at Cape Fiolent. New systems have changed the combat position of the previous generation C-300 ADMS.
The C-400 Triumph complex is by far the most modern in the Russian army, and in some characteristics it surpasses all existing air defense systems in the world. "Triumph" is able to work on any goals, and then the number and hypersonic, at a distance of 400 km. A large part of the neighboring Krasnodar Territory will fall under the “umbrella” of the system deployed in Crimea.
Recall that exactly a year ago, the first division of the C-400 stepped on combat duty in Feodosia. According to the Ministry of Defense, two divisions of these air defense systems are quite enough to fully protect the airspace of Crimea.
