The Ukrainian side commented on the statements of the Russian General Staff that Ukraine may be involved in the attack drones to the air base of the Russian Federation "Khmeimim" in Syria. A possible Ukrainian trace was pointed out after the study of an explosive used in ammunition drones in Latakia. In particular, we are talking about such a substance as a heating element, which surpasses hexogen in its power.
TEN is made at Shostkinsky chemical reagent plant. In this case, experts say that this explosive can not be made in artisanal conditions or produce its extraction from ammunition. For its manufacture requires special factory conditions and compliance with the long process chain.
UNIAN cites a statement by the press secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Victoria Kushnir:
This is nothing but another informational attack. We reject these charges.
We will remind that earlier in Syria - in the places from which the terrorists were driven out - the presence of militants from the territory of Ukraine was detected. In particular, the CAA military personnel at training bases of terrorists in a number of Syrian provinces found Ukrainian symbols, including symbols of Ukrainian nationalist battalions.
