17
In the near future, the Russian Ministry of Finance will begin large-scale purchases of dollar currency. Investment volumes claim to be a record and amount to almost 260 billion rubles before the beginning of February, that is, about 15 billion rubles a day.
To conduct operations will be the Russian Central Bank. Every day during this period, the Bank of Russia will enter into transactions for the purchase of foreign currency at the organized trading of the Moscow Exchange, where currency speculators rule the show.
The Ministry of Finance warned in advance that additional oil revenues more expensive than 40 dollars per barrel will be invested in the purchase of foreign currency. According to experts, if the price of oil retains its position until the end of the year (which is 60-65 dollars per barrel), then in 2018, the Russian government will invest around 3 trillion rubles in the US currency.
