The military situation in Syria: Attacks on the Russian base Khmeimim continue

8
The Russian Defense Ministry has officially announced the disruption of a mass attack by unmanned aerial vehicles on military targets in the Syrian province of Latakia.

According to MO, 10 drones planned a raid on the Khmeimim airbase and three more - on the logistics center of the Russian Navy in Tartus. The Russian military managed to take control of six UAVs, the rest were destroyed by Pantsir air defense systems. All drones were found at a considerable distance from their targets.

According to the statement of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, unmanned aerial vehicles were collected partly handicraft, while having satellite guidance systems. Technical expertise showed that the intercepted drones were able to fly at least 100 km and with high accuracy hit the intended targets.

The Ministry of Defense did not clearly indicate that the engineering solutions used in these UAVs could only be obtained from one country in the world.

It is strange why then not to name this country, so that there would be no different kind of guesswork. Directly and with evidence, or again we will flirt!

Have Yarosh’s business cards been discovered?

A bit thick trying to unscrew. If only the business card of the downed pilot Makein was offered. Yarosh is only capable of gop-stop, and then on urine.

The site of the Ardupilot.org project, there is a lot of useful information for those who want to join in controlled flights. The cost of avionics is from $ 50 to $ 200, and this is with all the goodies including a GPS-Glonass receiver, radio modems (which are not required for this task).

I'm curious what they took the “Armor” for drones auto tracking?
    Radar or thermal imager?
    Or "decide to combine"?

Another confirmation that serious attention is being paid to the problem of combating enemy drones was the creation on October 28, 2017 in the Russian army of the first permanent tactical EW unit to combat unmanned aircraft and published on January 9, 2018 information about the readiness of the Russian Guard to form special units to counter drones.

No need to say how much they intercepted! And send the intercepted back to the base partners.
