Spectacular shots from Syria: the KAB-1500 aerial bomb carries the militants' bunker
33
Despite the fact that a significant part of the Russian Aerospace Forces group in Syria is withdrawn from the country, our aviation continues to destroy terrorists.
Today, Russian aircraft support the ground forces of the Syrian army in their attack on militant positions in the provinces of Hama and Idlib. Su-34 bombers are delivering preemptive strikes on the most important enemy targets, including strongholds, communications centers, ammunition depots and underground bunkers.
For the destruction of the latter, the VKS of Russia used powerful high-precision one-and-half-ton aerial bombs KAB-1500. Such ammunition can pierce about 3 meters of reinforced concrete or up to 20 meters of ground before being blown up. One of these moments was captured by the militants themselves. According to sources, the TOW anti-tank complexes supplied by the USA were in the underground storage.
