Russian robot will take the brunt of the special operations

7
Combat tests are being carried out in Russia robots "Nerekhta", which can be equipped with different types of weapons. The robot can carry a Kord heavy machine gun or be armed with a Kalashnikov machine gun and an AGS-30 automatic grenade launcher.

Nerekhta is a universal soldier. The bullet doesn’t take it, and possesses excellent sight, it sees it for three kilometers. The combat robot is able to move around the battlefield at a speed of 30 km / h, and the power reserve is 40 km.

The relatively small size and high maneuverability make it possible to use Nerekhta as an evacuation vehicle for the wounded, as well as for the delivery of ammunition. Silent electric motor makes it also excellent artillery reconnaissance.

Soon, after the end of the tests, the robot will go to the Ground Forces, where it will become an indispensable assistant for special units.

I think for systems like Nerekhta, the main enemy on the battlefield will be an enemy sniper with armor-piercing bullets.

but it costs the lives of soldiers.

what kind of lives? Have you watched the video carefully? did they see that the soldiers were going to battle in the same way? so how will salmon save these soldiers? This class of technology is useless, if it were less, easier, cheaper, then it could be used, and so it is useless ...

To evacuate it, it is better to attach a sleigh of plastic, like the ones that fishermen use both for snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles, they catch small ones — plastic troughs that also stay on the water. In the summer, their goose will also easily pull, for the soldier who is wounded will not lie so high
