The military situation in Syria: the Russian Aerospace Forces disappointed the militants
9
The Syrian army is successfully advancing in the province of Idlib, where the main battles unfolded. It is directly supported from the air by the Russian VKS, which are still in sufficient numbers in Syria. Su-25 attackers launched a series of powerful attacks against the positions of the terrorists Hayat Tahrir ash-Sham, which was a big surprise for the latter.
Meanwhile, a meeting took place between Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin. During the talks, Assad spoke out against US interference in internal events in the country, and those who collaborated with the Americans regarded as traitors.
The Syrian President recalled that it was thanks to US military aid that the Kurds managed to occupy significant territories in the eastern part of the country, including the cities of Raqqah and Manbij. Now they consider these lands their own and are not going to leave from there.
