From Golden Eagle to Su-57

Su-47 "Golden Eagle". Many consider this experimental fighter the first domestic combat aircraft of the 5 generation. In the 90-ies, he created a real sensation in the field of aviation. Unusual appearance, reverse sweep of the wing, the use of technology "stealth", bold black color ... "Berkut" was predicted a great future as part of the country's Air Force.

But years passed and the project was closed. However, his achievements not only remained alive, but were put into practice.

29 January 2010, its first flight made a new brainchild of "Sukhoi" - the 5 generation fighter Su-57 (PAK FA). This car was the answer to the American F-22. Since then, 11 flight models were built.

5 December of this year, it became known that the new fighter made the first flight with the engine of the second stage. According to experts, the new engine will allow the aircraft to perform maneuvers with the 9-10G overload with less loss of speed in comparison with such machines as Su-30 and Su-35.

These are those who poorly know the history of our aviation and forgot about the development of the MiG design bureau

Apparently, the author is not aware that before Golden Eagle there was MIG-1.42, MIG-1.44 ...
As for the SU-47, it was originally created for the Navy, as a deck.

Interestingly, with the second generation engines, the SU-57 became less noticeable in the infrared range?

He became more energy-armed. Visibility may not be reflected in a positive way. Power involves heat. I think no one will give us a more accurate info yet

Due to the fact that he can fly on super-sound without afterburner, in theory it should be harder to detect.
