The verdict pronounced today in the Zamoskvoretsky Court of the city of Moscow against the former Minister of Economic Development of Russia Alexey Ulyukayev is being actively discussed. Recall that Ulyukaev was found guilty of accepting a bribe on a large scale and sentenced to 8 years in a penal colony, paying a fine of 130 million rubles and deprivation of the right to hold public office for 8 years (after the expiration of the sentence).
As it turns out, the verdict caused a “panic” in the higher economic environment of Russia, among the liberal masses. So, ex-Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin said that he was shocked by the verdict of Ulyukayev.
In his
Twitter microblog Kudrin wrote:
Terrible, unfounded sentence. Weak investigation work, accusatory bias. Unfortunately, many are facing this injustice today.
It seems that Russian liberals, including representatives of the so-called non-systemic opposition, are stumped by a court sentence. On the one hand, there is a struggle of the authorities against corruption in the higher echelons, on the other hand, the “non-systemic” cannot admit that the fight against corruption by the authorities is in fact being waged.
Alexey Venediktov (chief editor of the radio station Ekho Moskvy):
Of course, not Sechin planted Ulyukaev. Ulyukaev put Putin. This means that it is not a bribe. I will assume that from the position of President Ulyukayev committed some other crime - some transcripts of conversations, something else.
Grigory Yavlinsky:
You can be the same as Nemtsov, and you can be the same as Ulyukayev. The outcome is the same. The system is as follows. She does not tolerate common sense. 8 years of strict regime for 61-year-old ex-minister - in order to intimidate. The court held no credibility. And this is just the beginning.
Adding "fire", Bozena Rynska:
8 years of high security! Ulyukaev ?! It is necessary to throw out of the country as quickly as possible ...
