The weekly summary of 2-8 December about the military and social situation in the DNR and the LC from the military men "Mag"
This week continued heavy fighting and shelling on weekends, and on weekdays the situation was relatively calm. The command of the APU is trying to distract the population of Ukraine from the events in Kiev.
Ukrainian security forces are actively preparing for hostilities in the ATO zone. According to previously received documents from its sources in the SBU, the intensification of hostilities can start from 8 to December 15, otherwise transferred to the month of January.
In favor of previously received documents speak the following signs:
1. Connections of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, located in the zone "ATO", actively replenish stocks of ammunition for large-caliber artillery and MLRS.
2. The SBU in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions are currently working on the issue of disconnecting cellular communications in the 50-kilometer zone from the line of contact of troops deep into Ukraine, and also given indications to activate sabotage and terrorist activities in the republics from December 10.
3. Medical groups were assigned to the 28 th unit (separate mechanized brigade) and 59 th unit (separate motorized infantry brigade) from the 61 th VMG (military medical hospital). 4. The most important indicator of the preparation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for a full-scale offensive is the concentration of prohibited artillery systems and armored vehicles near the settlement. Verkhnetoretskaya and Mariupol direction, which are recorded by our intelligence.
5. The enemy intensified aerial reconnaissance in all directions. If earlier we recorded 1-2 cases of the use of UAVs per day on the whole front, now it is 3-4 times per day in the area of responsibility of each of the APU brigades.
6. Data were obtained on the possible use of the phosphorus, banned by international conventions, anti-civilian munitions in the territories controlled by Ukraine. Moreover, these provocations are prepared with the participation of foreign instructors located in the "ATO" zone.
7. Also, we record the arrival in the “ATO” zone of film crews of Western and Ukrainian TV channels, which are supervised by the SBU. Currently, specially trained film crews are located in the cities of Volnovakha and Mariupol, as well as in Kramatorsk, the teams are waiting.

Over the past day, the APU fired at the DPR 29 times.
In Donetsk, in the area of ten settlements, the enemy released 170 mines with a caliber of 82-mm and 120-mm, and the enemy also fired various types of grenade launchers and small arms. VSU used phosphorus ammunition in the DFS area, putting in jeopardy a critical facility providing water for a portion of the DPR and the territory occupied by the APU.
On the Mariupol direction, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of settlements Leninskoe and Kominternovo fired 32 mines in caliber 82-mm and 120-mm, fired from BMP, grenade launchers and small arms.
In the Gorlovka direction in the areas of four settlements, the enemy fired 31s with a 82-mm and 120-mm mine, and also used various types of grenade launchers and small arms. As a result of daytime shelling from the point of view of the Armed Forces of Ukraine according to the settlement of Holmovsky damaged four houses.
During the day, the APU was fired at LC 12 times, using 120 and 82-mm mortars, AGS, LNG, BMP, RPG, KK and small arms. The positions of NM of the LPR in the area of the settlement were subjected to shelling. Frunze, Logvinovo, Youth, Long, Kalinovka, Prishib, Lozovoe, Novoaleksandrovka, Pervomaisk.
Over the past week:
- As a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, two civilians were injured.
- during the defense of the Republic, four servicemen of the Armed Forces of the DPR were killed and one was wounded.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired 277 DPR once and used 1679 artillery, tank shells and mines with a 82-mm and 120-mm caliber across the Republic.
Areas of the twenty-one settlement of the Republic were subjected to fire impact by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Twenty eight houses were damaged in the following locations: n.v. Dokuchaevsk, Clear, Golmovsky, Krutaya Balka, Zaytsevo and in the Petrovsky district of Donetsk.
APU fired at LC 43 times. The fire was conducted from all types of weapons. Including the use of prohibited by the Minsk agreements artillery guns caliber 122 mm, mortars caliber 82-mm and 120-mm, BMP, anti-aircraft guns, various types of grenade launchers and small arms. In total, 607 shells, mines and grenades were fired on the territory of the Republic.
