Su-35 effectively overtakes Su-30CM in the Syrian sky

The operation of the aerospace forces of the Russian Federation in Syria is coming to an end. For more than two years, our pilots have worked on thousands of targets, destroying a huge amount of military equipment and manpower of militants.

Fighter, assault and bomber aviation gained invaluable experience, which the Russian VKS so lacked. According to the former commander of the Aerospace Forces Viktor Bondarev, all the pilots of this kind of troops went through the Syrian conflict.

Military experience was gained also by pilots of army aircraft. Attack helicopters Mi-35, Mi-24, Ka-52 and Mi-28 confirmed their characteristics and were extremely effective, providing direct support to Syrian troops on the ground.

Today, December 11, part of the wing will leave Hmeymim airbase and go home. Finally, the Russian crews allow themselves to play a little in the Syrian sky.

And exactly Su-30 overtakes? In the still image, the R-77 is visible under the wing, next to the R-27. Do Su-30s drag the R-77? I saw the Su-35 with them in Syria, the Su-30 seems to be gone.
