On the eve of the rally (aka the march "For Impeachment") gathered in Kiev a record number of supporters for "Mihomaydan". In the center of the Ukrainian capital left about 50 thousands of people. They are supporters of the ex-governor of the Odessa region, Mikhail Saakashvili, as well as “veterans of the ATO”. This is the data of the participants of the rally. In turn, the Kiev police said that the protesters in the capital of Ukraine were "no more than 3 thousand people."
Saakashvili’s Facebook page talks about the law enforcement officers’s lies and adds: “As long as they talk about only a few thousand of our supporters, we’ll fill every square we’re going to enter.”
Recall that Mikhail Saakashvili himself was detained on suspicion of "assisting criminal organizations." He was also charged with "preparing insurrection and unlawful seizure of power." Attention is drawn to the fact that Saakashvili is accused of “attempting an illegal seizure of power” by those who himself came to power in the wake of a coup d’état.
According to the latest data, Saakashvili is in the remand prison of the Security Service of Ukraine, located in the Askold lane of Kiev. Supporters of Saakashvili said they intend to seek not only the release of the founder of the Movement of New Forces party (today's status of Saakashvili), but also the resignation of the current president, who was called the former head of Georgia "cheap mafia".
