The first attack helicopter T129 will enter service with the Turkish army in JuneARMS-TASS. The first of nine attack helicopters T129 EDH, acquired by the Turkish army as an interim solution in the framework of the ATAK project, will be put into operation in June. In general, according to the calculations of the country's defense industry secretariat (SSM), four helicopters of this type will be delivered this year. The remaining five helicopters in the EDH version must be delivered in 2013.

T129 EDH, created by Turkish companies Turkish Aerospace Industries (Turkish Aerospace Industries, TAI) and Aselsan (Aselsan) based on the AW129 helicopter manufactured by Agusta / Westland, made its first flight in September of 2011, the two currently built T129 EDH pass flight tests and test firing involving 20-mm guns and missiles.

The EDH model acquired by the army as part of an urgent need to replace obsolete AH-1 Cobra helicopters manufactured by Bell does not provide for the possibility of firing from weapons another type, which, in particular, will be equipped with the main version of the T129B.

Currently, TAI continues to manufacture and test the T129B helicopter, the first of which is expected to be handed over to the customer in July 2013. The remaining 50 helicopters will follow to 2018.

Don’t tell me, a normal machine is almost a small Hunter or Apache, but closer to ours, since it’s also armored!

And the same on the "minced meat", but only very small and as a result of this not "distant"!

But for the tasks of reconnaissance and covering troops will go! good

Not a new little thing was modernized by the "oilmen", but this may be the beginning of their own production - which is not gut for us!

But once the Turks wanted to order at least 12 newest Russian Mi-28 helicopters from us. Ankara explains its decision by Washington's refusal to sell American AN-1 Cobra helicopters to it.

It is you, dear, a little confused, not the Mi-28, but the Ka-52, or rather the export version for the Turkish order of the Ka-50-2 and named it "Erdogan"

The Russian company “Kamov” presented at a Turkish tender in 1997 a model of the Ka-2-50 multipurpose 2-seater combat helicopter, which structurally repeats the Ka-52 attack and reconnaissance helicopter.

The design feature of the presented domestic helicopter is the separation of the Lahav Division from the Israeli company IAI. The department included modern electronic equipment.

The choice of equipment and equipment created by Israeli experts is clear - IAI has gained great experience in the modernization of domestic and foreign aircraft models.

In addition, the Israeli company has already modernized Turkish F-4E aircraft, which means that it is well acquainted with the aviation market in Turkey and finally agreed to take on part of the financing of the Russian project.

At the first stage of the tender in 1999, Russian-Israeli designers demonstrated the flight capabilities of the K-50-2 combat unit and the operation of the electronic airborne complex.
At this stage, the helicopter confirmed its declared characteristics and showed excellent performance in Turkish conditions, which are characterized by high temperatures and uneven terrain.
The Ka-50-2 helicopters were tested by 5 crews of Turkish military pilots, who after flights gave them a very good rating.

The 2nd stage of the tender is the evaluation of the participating helicopters in the dark and shooting from on-board weapons.
To demonstrate these capabilities, the Ka-52 helicopter is sent for testing.
For several months, helicopters completed the second round of the tender.
Turkish test pilots gave a good assessment here as well to the flight performance and on-board equipment of the domestic combat helicopter.
The combat capabilities of the K-52 made a huge impression on everyone - all installed targets were successfully hit by the Whirlwind ATGM, airborne guns and unguided missiles.

          the latest Russian Mi-28 helicopters.

There was such a thing, but our 28th, this is a completely different "opera", "class" and category "!!!

Yes, I don't remember with whom, but I argued to the point of "hoarseness", proving that we have a radar station on the Mi-28N (just above the hub) of the type like Crossbow-M on the Ka-52, with it there were "problems, but that's all "decided", but could not convince!

          I can’t remember who! recourse

Therefore, with your permission, in this answer I will post the info, do not mind? drinks

Combat helicopter Mi-28N (side number "36 yellow", serial number 01-05, serial number 34012835105), used by JSC "Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant" for testing the H025 onboard radar in the over-sleeve fairing.

This board was the first copy of the Mi-28N helicopter to receive the N025 radar, having begun test flights with it in February 2007.

In this photograph taken on April 2, 2012, it is noticeable that the radar radome is slightly different in details from the previously used one, which leads us to conclude that testing of the modified version of the N025 radar

The presence of different types of vehicles from different manufacturers is unnecessary problems with maintenance and components. Yes, and Agusta is clearly not the machine that really increases the impact capabilities. Something Turkish wise ...

      Turks are still those pilots.
The following story was told at one of the US Air Force bases. Once in Florida, future pilots of the Turkish Air Force learned to fly. One of them had an engine stalled in flight, and he reported this to the base in a tragic voice. The answer was immediate: "Turkish student, bail out!" EVERY Turkish pilot who heard this bailed out! On that day, the United States lost six A-4 Skyhawk. One with a stalled engine and five absolutely serviceable ..

Do not you dare the Bandera bastard to align the Russians with the Ukrainians, the Russian soldier is much stronger than the Yatsky one, about 10 Saloyed people will be needed per Russian soldier to destroy him, soon Turkish soldiers together with Polish will march across Ukraine and destroy all the military potential of Ukraine and raise the Turkish flag over Yandya and Poland will take the rest of Ukraine to itself, because your filthy uncivilized nation is useless to anyone and nobody will go to protect you, you wouldn’t be on the map soon, and if this happens I will triumph and thank the great Turkey and Poland.
