Uralvagonzavod during negotiations at Defexpo-2012 reached an agreement on the possible acquisition of Russian weapons, including the T-90MS tank

The Russian modernized T-90MS tank, first presented at the Defexpo India-2012 international exhibition of land and sea weapons, which took place from 29 March to 1 in April in New Delhi, aroused great interest among potential customers. This was reported today by ITAR-TASS in the press service of the research and production corporation Uralvagonzavod.
"The T-90MS tank aroused particular interest among Indian and foreign exhibitors. During the work of Defexpo 2012, the exposition was visited by the leadership of the Indian Ministry of Defense, as well as official delegations from European, Asian and African countries. Opening the presentation of the modernized tank T-90mS, General Director of Uralvagonzavod Oleg Sienko noted that Russia has always been and remains the leader in the production of high-quality weapons, which is in demand on the world market, the press service said.
According to Indian and other foreign experts, the presented sample of the new tank confirmed the undoubted leadership of Russian tank building in the creation of promising models of armored vehicles.
"During the presentations and negotiations between foreign delegations and the management of Uralvagonzavod, agreements were reached on implementing a number of programs aimed at acquiring Russian weapons, including the T-90MS tank," the press service noted.
The upgraded T-90MS differs from the previous version by a more powerful engine, enhanced protection, which in addition to traditional armor includes an electromagnetic protection system. The new tank also installed a new fire control system, improved protection system and chassis.
