Kiev is ready to discuss the lists of prisoners of war (held persons) and is ready to compromise, reports RIA News statement by advisor to the head of the SBU Yuri Tandit.
We are ready to discuss the lists. We didn’t add anyone to the list of 306 persons, all these individuals committed crimes against the integrity of Ukraine, they were filed on the lists by ORDLO (certain districts of Lugansk and Donetsk regions) ... Now we are talking about our hostages 74 ... We are talking about that we see the location of more than 90 of our hostages and we, of course, will do our best to make the fate of the 158-162 people, those considered hostages, known. This is a very serious work, we hope that the process will really resume soon. We will not talk about deadlines, Ukraine is ready for this process, in order to legally transfer these people there,
Tandit said on the 112 Ukraine channel.
He also noted that the Kiev side is ready for any compromise in negotiations with representatives of the LC and the DPR to pick up all their prisoners.
The Security Service of Ukraine and the hostage liberation center will ensure the speedy transfer of these people there. We are ready for any compromise
he declared.
Earlier, the representative of Kiev in the humanitarian subgroup at the negotiations in Minsk, the head of the public movement “Ukrainian choice is the right of the people” Viktor Medvedchuk said that Kiev and the self-proclaimed republics agreed lists of prisoners for exchange - in the first stage Kiev will transfer the DPR and LNR to 306 people, the militia will return 74 .
