71-I convoy sent to Donbass with humanitarian aid for residents of the DPR and LPR, reports RIA News message of the press service of the Emergencies Ministry.
“She left the Don Rescue Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Rostov region in 04.00 Moscow time. Now cars are following the Russian-Ukrainian border. All customs and border procedures will be carried out in the manner prescribed by law at two checkpoints - "Donetsk" and "Matveyev Kurgan", "the release says.
It is reported that the columns "will continue to move to Donetsk and Lugansk only after customs inspection of all vehicles in the presence of representatives of the border and customs services of Ukraine."
The cars will deliver more than 500 tons of humanitarian aid to the residents of the self-proclaimed republics, including children's food packages, medicines, medical equipment, as well as children's gifts.
Recall, EMERCOM of Russia delivers humanitarian aid to residents of Donbass from 2014 year. During this time, more than 71 has transported thousands of goods.
