US President Donald Trump regularly expresses his solidarity with Ukraine and its people, reports RIA News Statement by the Foreign Minister of the Republic Pavel Klimkin.
I met with President Trump three times, and he always conveyed a clear message of solidarity: we are Ukrainians. I perceive this promise as the full support of Ukraine and our struggle, both in security aspects and in promoting reforms,
said Klimkin during a visit to Canada.
According to him, Ukraine in recent years has become "an indispensable ally of the transatlantic community."
Earlier, the Foreign Minister of Ukraine said that Kiev expects to receive Javelin anti-tank missile systems and other weapons from the United States in the future.
As reported on Saturday by ABC News, the US National Security Council decided to recommend President Donald Trump to provide Kiev with a grant of $ 47 million for the purchase of Javelin anti-tank missile systems.
