The 1st Army Corps of the Ministry of Defense of the DPR is a combined arms corps in the Armed Forces of the Donetsk People’s Republic. The structure of the corps includes: 1st separate motorized rifle brigade "Slavyanskaya", 3rd separate motorized rifle brigade "Berkut", 5th separate motorized rifle brigade "Oplot", 7th separate motorized rifle brigade "Chistyakovskaya". Today, the 1st Army Corps has over 400 in service tanks, 350 infantry fighting vehicles, 60 artillery pieces, 30 Grad multiple launch rocket systems, as well as 280 mortars of various calibers.
