The RF Ministry of Defense in the framework of the state defense order for 2017 received the last regimental set of C-400 SAM systems, the press service of Almaz-Antey concern told the media on Wednesday.
Thus, following the results of this year, four regiments of this anti-aircraft missile system were supplied to the Russian military department.
Concern VKO "Almaz - Antey" in the framework of the obligations under the state defense order for the current year transferred to the Russian Defense Ministry the next regimental set C-400 "Triumph". When transferred to representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the equipment was brought to the training ground to conduct initial combat shooting (anti-air combat with the use of target missiles imitating the attack of modern day and night in adverse weather conditions with active enemy electronic countermeasures). All acceptance tests were successful.

S-400 is designed to protect against shock aviationstrategic, cruise, tactical, and operational-tactical ballistic missiles, as well as medium-range ballistic missiles in combat and electronic countermeasures.
