During the Dubai-2017 air show, we will sign a contract with an Indian company for the delivery of Mi-171A2 civilian helicopters,

He stressed that cooperation with the Indian side is developing successfully, as evidenced by our joint decision to conclude this agreement, as well as another contract for the supply of Ka-226.

At the end of this year, but most likely at the beginning of next year, we will sign a contract to supply X-NUMX Ka-200 helicopters for the Indian Ministry of Defense,
clarified the head of the company.

Boginsky also said that at present, the joint venture is already successfully operating, “on the basis of which helicopters will be assembled in India and serviced.”

Yeah, we know how such contracts are signed with the Indians, probably the assembly with subsequent localization in India, that’s how Boeing and Airbus would sell us, and other equipment and machinery, otherwise we create jobs in other states.

Don’t say stupid things with the USSR, of course, Russia cannot be compared in production, but nevertheless helicopters are manufactured in Ulan Ude in Kazan, and I still can’t remember somewhere.

So it is, and they also require the transfer of technology. Although for this machine it is more likely a good deal than a failure. The machine is quite old, and this version of the K-226 is a deep modernization.

So our businessmen are not interested in this, and so would Boeings and Airbases collect where they would go. They passed production laws, new standards and that’s all.

Vitaly, here it is the capitalist system in determining the "greatness" of the state, where the main criterion for the country's WFP. We lived in the USSR and had no idea what our GDP was. Now India has taken the 3rd place in the world in the runway, and the bulk of the population lives in real poverty, far from being comparable with Russia, which is in this category (GDP indicator) in 6-7th place. Yes
P.S. Vitaly, please change your nickname "Banishchik" to no longer exciting, we have women on this site. wink

The most interesting thing is that there is a tendency to refuse to purchase our equipment. Two unpleasant commercial events happened during Putin’s visit to Danang. China, taking into account American debts, takes American gas production capacities from Alaska, from where liquefied gas will be transported to China, which was during Trump’s visit to Chairman Xi. I don’t know how powerful the LNG strike from Alaska on natural gas from Siberia is in terms of delivering daily volumes, but it’s unpleasant. Our Vietnamese brothers dealt a second blow by signing Wishbanks with Trump for the acquisition of US helicopters, abandoning ours. That's it.

But why do not you take into account Egypt’s acquisition of the Ka-52 and Mig-29, Turkey and the S-400. The opposite is the trend.

It is very good. Even if they collect these helicopters there. Anyway, while they completely localize their production, we will produce assembly kits. These are jobs and money to the budget.

All that the Indians, as you put it, “localized”, and did with their own hands, they do not fly a little, shoots a little and do not go a little, and as a result they begin to buy and introduce original products into the troops.

    Here are the nuances

    ------------------------------------
I didn’t particularly see the nuances, because some publications present this as success, others as failure. We'll see. At such meetings, they always sign a bunch of communiqués, memorandums, and other wish-cards for cooperation. This is a necessary ritual to give significance to such meetings.
