Washington denies publication of readiness to supply Javelin to Kiev

The administration of the President of the United States has denied allegations that it has agreed in principle to the delivery of lethal weapons Kiev regime. It all started with the publication in the American edition Wall Street Journalin which it was stated that the United States is ready to begin deliveries of anti-tank Javelin missile systems to Ukraine. At the same time, the publication did not talk about delivery times.
The newspaper referred to some sources in the White House, who reported on the readiness to supply anti-tank systems in the amount of about $ 50 million. It was stated that this is “a signal to Moscow to take decisive measures if Russia refuses to resolve the conflict by peaceful means.”
A few hours after the publication in the WSJ, White House spokesman Michael Anton said that the information contained in the publication of the American edition does not really correspond.
In any case, information (misinformation) games of this format can be considered a blatant provocation. Moreover, this provocation was deliberately done - before the meeting of the presidents of Russia and the United States in Vietnam, where, apparently, the topic of Ukraine will also be raised when communicating in a bilateral format.
