Fully completed shipments of BTR-80 to Bangladesh

22
Russia has completed deliveries of armored personnel carriers BTR-80 for the UN peacekeeping contingent in Bangladesh, reports RIA News a message from the representative of the Military Industrial Company (MIC).

In Bangladesh, deliveries have completed
- said the representative of the military industrial complex at the exhibition Defense & Security-2017 in Bangkok.

Earlier in the company reported that the contract will be fully executed in 2017 year. In some Russian editions there was information that 330 machines would be delivered to Bangladesh in total according to the contract of the year 2014.

Bangladesh is our regular customer; the BTR-80 in white is for the local UN peacekeeping contingent that has been working there since the 1980's. This year we will complete this delivery, said the company's general director Alexander Krasovitsky in February.

BTR-80 was created in the early 80-ies. This is the modernization of the BTR-70, taking into account its use in the Afghan war.

The machine is designed to transport units, their fire support in combat, the destruction of manpower, anti-tank weapons and lightly armored vehicles of the enemy. The armored personnel carrier is armed with a large-caliber (14,5 millimeter) KPVT machine gun, a PKT machine gun of the 7,62 millimeter caliber, and a smoke grenade launch system.

These are not “Tractor Plants” by chance, otherwise they will go bankrupt and not the manufacturer, but the pocket of the imperialist.

If the plant goes bankrupt, he will not be able to fulfill the order, and if he completed the order then he has not gone bankrupt, but the mess is enough I agree.

Yes, the tower is like the 82nd, it seems like a closer look at the gun does not look like 30 mm short.

UN armored personnel carriers delivered, this is a big difference, at least they pay. Bangladesh, of course, is a regular customer, only everything is on credit, and Putin likes to write off loans later granted to other states

I even suspect, but it seemed like this was in the media - that such deliveries go to the account of "contributions to the UN." Which is almost equal to the sale, because otherwise the United Nations would have paid real "green rubles". And how many people notice correctly - where will they come for spare parts? Great uncle Fedo - they will come to us. So there is hidden income. repeat
