So, on the eve of the head of the DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko took part in the solemn launching ceremony of the Makeyevka foundry. The company was actually in a frozen state, ceasing to produce products as early as 2013.

Acting Minister of Industry and Trade of the DPR Alexey Granovsky was also present at the ceremony of resuming the work of the foundry in Makeyevka.

Donetsk News Agency cites the statement of the head of the republic, Alexander Zakharchenko:

The products of the enterprise will be exported more, but there will also be domestic consumers. We can say that the DNI is getting on its feet and there will be more and more such enterprises every day.

At the first stage of work, the productivity of the Makeevsky foundry will be about 4 thousand tons of products per month.

The company is the only one in the DPR, specializing in the production of cast iron grinding media used in raw materials processing.

To date, the company has opened around 150 jobs. The staff will increase with the growth of production volumes and access to markets.
