Uralvagonzavod completed a long-term contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for the supply of tanks T-72B3. The flagship of the defense gave the troops the next batch of modernized T-72B3 tanks - a total of 22 vehicles. The same amount entered the army almost every month. The current delivery of tanks is final in the past year.

Tanks right in the hangar were loaded onto platforms and sent to a part by rail.

      Well, until all the prowlers appear! Another assessment will begin: - “Armata” is not gugo, money wasted, who will be responsible for the bazaar.

        not not, not should, and it’s good that they modernized, most importantly, that they trained tankers well, didn’t spare fuel and all that

      Judging by the description, this is not the budget T-72B3 for 52 million, but its improved (and more complete) version.
      The tank is equipped with a highly automated fire control system, a multi-channel gunner’s sight like “Pine”, an automatic target tracking system, a more advanced 125 mm gun and ammunition of increased power to them, onboard screens of type "Relic" - sets of additional protection for combat in urban environments.
      Installed on the tank new engine with 1130 hp, additional protection elements for the tower, side projection and underbody.

        Well then, apparently, this is a modification of the T-72B3M / 4

      This, incidentally, is the last batch of the order of 150 units of T-72B3 tanks.

        In my opinion, the T-72 is probably the best tank in the world, and the most massive one is for sure! Well, after such modernization is beyond praise. T-72B3 is a formidable fighting vehicle and in which case it will be an undoubted competitor to the battlefield to any enemy! Sorry, there are a lot of exclamation points, but this tank deserves it! Special thanks to the tank builders of the Uralvagonzavod, well done, fellow countrymen!

    In my opinion, it would be better if we upgraded all versions of the T90, and T80, completely 100 percent, than sculpt this armored misunderstanding! am

      An order for modernization of the t-90 has already been placed, there was an article about this, do not worry so much, everything is going according to plan

      If my memory serves me, then with the modernization of the T-80 there is a significant problem, smaller than the T-72 / 90’s shoulder straps do not allow the use of new types of BZ in the automatic loader.

      Somehow you are categorical. Have you ever exploited the T 72? Well, shoot there, drive, serve? Or - purely theoretically?

      Given that at the time of the decision on T-72B3, the basis of our BTVs were T-72 A and B - your proposal smacks of sabotage. wink
      I recall the context of that decision:
      - UVZ for a year raised the price of the T-90 by almost 70% - up to 118 million rubles;
      - New tanks go to the army at 65 units per year;
      - The basis of the BTV - T-72A and B is still the Soviet issue;
      - urgently need to replace 2000-2500 tanks.
      In this setting, "a budget tank for 52 million." was the optimal solution - for the T-72B3 was better than the bulk of the tanks of our BTV and could be obtained in the required quantities (at the beginning of this year there were already about 1000 units).

      Are you about 72? Duck, he has completely proved himself ... In battles against barmaleys more than !, in Donbas he also sells, but in general he’s good, the main thing is modernization is cheaper than new ...

      Expensive. Will be delivered in small batches ...
      For me, today the T-14, in addition to the advocacy function, has an important function of running in technologies, equipment and systems. They can be used (or maybe used) in the modernization of existing equipment.

      This is expensive, small batches are needed to break in technology, but spending a lot of money to replace the T-72 is unreasonable. The strategy is the same as in the modernization of ships for the Navy and the emphasis on DPL with Caliber, since it is cheaper. Maybe only nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers can rivet here? Want to ruin the economy?

    How tired of this marginality of the writing fraternity! What, I apologize, does the horseradish at the tank factory make the room for parking and storage of aircraft? And why is there loading on rail? Why does the author consider it the norm to give out information to readers as for the illiterate? If you do not know the name of the room, you can consult with colleagues, in the worst case, the Internet exists.

    Normal tank ... a real hard worker and a fighter. And the fact that it often gets lousy gaskets between the seat and the controls and then, if they survive, they grind with their tongues that this is a tank of a go-go, and they are then he-he-he-he
    In short, he can fight / win. maybe it’s become a grave for everyone ... but he has such a job \ fate
