Why I left Canada. Opinion about Canada through the eyes of not accustomed
Many have never been there even tourists, and, most likely, they never will, it hurts to get a visa. For some reason, they (the Canadian embassies) think that you should definitely stay there (why would it, and who told them that?). Apparently, there are reasons for this. By the number of Chinese, Indians, Latinos and blacks, you can imagine that you are not at all in Canada, but in Asia or Brazil.
But the pictures do not show it. Therefore, the impression is created that Canada is exactly what you are shown. Having lived in “Canada” for many years, I want to share my observations from the inside. There is no desire to offend anyone, but before saying that the neighbor’s situation is bad (see the article A Trip to Moscow after 7 Years of Absence), it would be fair to see - what is there in your country?
So, you can get to Canada in several ways. About refugee, that is, to come and stay, I will not spread. These people have neither rights nor freedom. It makes no sense to dwell on this.
Immigration (family, professional, etc.) is the most common way. Collecting documents and paying duties is the easiest thing to do. And then you have to go through an interview. For some unknown reason, the entire immigration process took 7 months for me, and I did not go to the interview. This is the exception rather than the rule. Now do on 2 or 4 !! interview, and it takes about 3 years. That's just incomprehensible - so relate to all, or to the Hindus and Chinese in a different way? Judging by the number of the latter, Canada is interested in them, and not in whites. Vancouver is the clearest example. It is understandable, if you pay a Hindu or a Chinese a maximum of $ 7 per hour, he is happy before being put off, and there are no ambitions.
And with those who have ambitions, they will climb into the heads, and they need it? The answer is obvious.
Rule 1 Canada needs hands, not heads. There are enough heads there too.
People need to live there somewhere, and immediately upon arrival. There is a way out - it may be possible to find accommodation, first in a hotel, and then you can rent an apartment, a “basement” (that is, help the person who gives him pay his mortgage). If a person does not want to live in a dustbin, get ready to pay $ 1500 a month for a rented apartment. And obviously without any frills. As a rule, the minimum term is 1 year. Here you will be required to guarantee another person, and then oh, they do not want to take on financial obligations. Like paying for you at Tim Hortons, even $ 1.25 for coffee. Laugh. And God forbid you to start working at the other end of the city in 3 month, and want to move. You will pay a penalty for breaking a contract from 50-100% of payment amounts for the remaining months. And don't even think that in the next year period something will change. The same conditions.
Rule 2 If you do not know the rules of the game, and they are always written by those who give you something, until you learn and understand - do not go.
It's one thing to find accommodation, another is where? In which area of the city? If we talk about Toronto, then in the presence of 192 nationalities, they tend to live compactly. Black, Chinese, Arab, Greek, Bendera (no joke, there is no such thing, but there are Ukrainian ones), Russians, lakeshore (such as white and expensive) and other areas differ in the same way as the countries from which these people came. And, as a rule, they look at 100% like these countries, with all their inherent dirt and odors.
Rule 3 Tell me where you live, and I will tell you who you are.
Well, now we will go around the city by car. Canadians love cars, only they almost always pay for them on credit. Well, the garbage that as a result 2 prices are paid, but immediately. By the way, if you see a cool car on the street - it’s not a fact that the owner has a lot of money, most likely he has a sooo big debt. And how they drive! Rain or snow is the most serious national disaster. The speed, and so is not very large when driving on the highway at rush hour, turns into zero km per hour. And where else you can drive, for some reason the speed drops to max 20 km / h. And do not care about anything. They are elementary afraid to ride!
The “best” drivers are Chinese. Everything is tied to their philosophy - I am a free person - I go wherever I want, and I go the same way, but what rules to hell? You will see a Chinese at the wheel - expect trouble.
The greatest joy when the back of your car will drive another car. Insurance is about 1 million bucks, insurance companies pay without problems, well, almost.
One of my friends, with whom we drove in his car, and when one too fast driver almost hit his car from behind, he was so upset that he almost wept. To the question - what are you, man? He said - “you don’t understand anything, he would have knocked me, and I would say at the court that I was so scared that I was sleeping at night now and waking up !! Thirty thousand people would receive benefits during the year! ”
But this is half the trouble, you need to pay for the insurance job - the prices never fall, on average, about $ 300 every month, take it out, and there is no guarantee that next year it will not be $ 400 per month.
Rule 4 If the payment for an apartment does not “kill you,” insurance for the car, or rather, not for the car, but for each driver, will definitely finish it off.
There is such a thing as measures of lengths and weights. 1 km = 1000 m and so on. Yes, this rule is valid anywhere, but not in Canada !. Distance between cities - in km, and the area of the apartment +. in square fits. And do not care about anything. The announced price in the store for a pound, but really pay per kilogram. Psychos. Dimensions are often shown in inches and yards, and long distances in kilometers.
And they really do not care that prices are listed everywhere without taxes. What you see is not what you pay. There is also a plus 15% on top (in Ontario). This is to show that this state takes money, not they. That's just you from this is not hot and not cold.
Rule 5 Forget what you were taught in school, there you can mix all the measures of lengths and weights, and everyone will be happy.
Canadians are so zombie that they think that Canada is paradise. Maybe, but a paradise for a Hindu who came from a hole, or black from Africa. After China also looks good. But definitely not for a person from Europe.
Canada is a country for women and children. Someone who is really wonderful there. However, at school they will always be guided only by the worst, and not by the best. That grows from them gray blunt mass. A man who represents something, there is no need to immigrate somewhere, he will be able to provide for his family in any country. Speaking of men and women - in Canada, the rules are the simplest. The more beautiful and well-groomed man - the greater the chance that he is gay. The worse and uglier the woman, the greater the chance that she is a lesbian. I lived in 3 blocks from Church Street in Toronto, and am responsible for every word.
May women forgive me for what they read further, but I, as the singer, who sees and sings. Before I left for Canada, I looked at B. Spears as a fat cow of an incomprehensible size. It did not reach my consciousness that someone might like it. And then I got with my Canadian friends in a nightclub, and then in many other clubs, at work, on the street, on the highway, in transport, I saw the same thing - scary, scruffy women who do not have a mirror. Because if it were, they would at least be ashamed! What is cosmetics, they do not know, but they wash their heads, which is nice.
Of the 100% percent of women I met, I saw the following - 70% have almost the final stage of obesity, with a margin of about 30-40 kg, at least. 20% outweigh up to 20 kg, with 10% you can with a stretch say that they are slim, and only from 5 (not%, but pieces) !!! the women I met were breathtaking and did not let go for a very long time, one of which was my wife. (go down to Moscow in the subway or walk down the street - will you see it?) I had 2 shock when I came to Canada - it was the first, and when I returned to Moscow and looked at the women, it was the second one, and they drive here In the underground? No wonder that in Canada, B. Spears is beautiful!
Rule 6 Want to be surrounded by scary women - walk around Toronto.
Well, now about my favorite topic - money. Everyone needs money, whether someone likes it or not. Sales system in Canada is completely different than in Europe. No where you came from, you will never even be taught in Canada another - perhaps the most important one - personal finance management. Since I have the necessary Canadian state licenses *, I can talk about it. I will not specifically describe what financial advisors do to people and how it is on their conscience. But keep in mind that, most likely, they will sell you something on which they earn more money, and not what you need. Knowing how certain financial products work, I can say that they often buy something completely different for their family than they sell you.
The most interesting topic is boxing week. It seems that the people all year waiting for one single day to buy everything at once. Yes, the discounts are big, but the queues are like in the Soviet time for sausage.
Why? It's simple. For a Canadian, a salary of $ 50,000 per year (before taxes) is almost the ultimate dream. (Editor's note: Apparently, the author wanted to say “for a newly arrived immigrant,” although even for such we know the cases of the initial salary and 60 and even 120 thousands per year).
Let's see how much money they have left after they pay their bills.
Although there is a progressive scale of taxation and the numbers are rough for ease of calculation, in order, they do not differ much from reality.
50,000 before taxes = 30,000 after taxes per year. (Note: In the province of Ontario, this is actually $ 39,415 after taxes. A personal tax calculator, while Canada provides additional opportunities for tax cuts: such as medical expenses, physical education costs for children, charitable and political donations, etc.)
30,000 = 2,500 per month.
Removable apartment or mortgage = 1500, remains 1000.
Car leasing or loan = 400, remains 600.
Car insurance = 300, 300 remains.
Life insurance from 50 to 180, take 100, remains 200.
And eat?
And get dressed?
And refuel?
And the money for property taxes? (what taxes if a rented apartment?)
And the university to pay children?
And savings?
Continue to continue? Oddly enough, but the costs do not end there. And people who have 200 dollars per month, quietly get into debt in the form of credit cards, credit lines, etc. etc. Yes, they say that everything in Canada is wonderful, and in Moscow everything is bad. Canadian average debt in $ 130 thousand ** does not bother anyone. 9 of 10 people traveling with you on the highway, postponed to life less than $ 10 thousand. Funeral $ 15 thousand worth! Guys, people in Russia live on their own! Clear?
Rule 7 Want to live in debt, Canada is the perfect choice. True, most likely, this debt you will hang on your children, but these are trifles, did you give birth to them for this?
I'm tired of all. Since this was our answer to Chamberlain, the style is appropriate. But there is one BUT! I could write the exact same article about what is good in Canada. And I would not spare epithets. Future and real immigrants and those who are not going anywhere, has life still not taught you that there is no paradise anywhere? There is no country in which everything is good or everything is bad. Each country has its advantages and disadvantages. In the end, everyone sees in others only what he really is and nothing more. Russia is not paradise, but Canada is not paradise either! Everyone makes their own choice, as well as paying for it.
